Hi All, Is anyone out there researching the Teeple Family? I got the obit from the Wayne Independent for Orvis W. Teeple, who just died. In the obit it stated that his parents were Atlee Teeple and Ada Lester. It also stated that two brother Howard and Henry predeceased him. I had gone to the 1930 Census images on Ancestry.Com to see if I could find the family. They showed Orvis as Orvin. When I went to the actual image it really does say Orvis, but you have to be looking really closely. However, the wife of W. Atlee Teeple is shown as Ienza L. (at least that is what it looks like). It appears that if might be her first marriage and his second. They have only been married about 4 years. I have from family information that Atlee Teeple was married to Ada Lester. Does anyone have a death date for Ada Lester Teeple? Does anyone know for sure if Atlee had a second wife and what her name was? I also found Orvis' brothers, Henry and Howard (they were twins). However they are shown as living with grandparents, Charles J. and Elizabeth S. Coddington. According to my information, their grandparents were William Henry and Maude (maiden name unknown) Teeple and Howard and Millie Eustacia Potter Lester. Could the Coddingtons have been great grandparents and perhaps the parents of Maude? Or were the Coddingtons perhaps parents of the second wife of Atlee Teeple, Ienza? My family information did not list a sister for Orvis named Norma; however, his obituary says that he had a sister, Norma White, who predeceased him. Does anyone have any information on Norma? Are her parents Atlee Teeple and Ada Lester? Any help in sorting this out would be greatly appreciated. Carol Potter Meadows
