I also am researching the ARTHUR family in PA and Cornwall. I have collected quite a bit in both areas. I am descended thru all the James' and have info on Hoskins and other branches. Just finished going thru the Egloshayle Parish Registers on film. And I am now going thru the churchwardens' rates records for St. Breock. The Arthurs were in St. Breock before Egloshayle and I have found some Arthurs in the rates film (William, James, David, Edward, Francis) but of course they do not give ages or relationships. (St. Breock and Egloshayle are bordering parishes and each claimed a portion of Wadebridge. It may be that the Arthur family stayed in the same area but just officially switched from one parish to the other!) On familysearch.com there are quite a lot of generations tracing back from Prudence Brenton compiled by a lady in Australia. But so far I have not been able to prove any generation further back from there on the Arthur side. I have always wondered if the Richard Arthur group is related but still haven't found a connection - it does not seem to be a commonly used first name in the James Arthur line.
