I've been able to locate some census information so far but nothing related to their immigration. I expect it has to do with differences in spelling. Any information about either of these families would be appreciated. Mary Stankovich, Birth 28 March 1891 in Vilno, Poland, Death 23 Nov 1975 in California,Pennsylvania. Anthony Volkavich, Birth May 29, 1890 in Poland, Death around 1922 in California PA. As far as I know, Tony died in a mining accident. Mary then married Pete Adamovich, also from Poland. Together they raised the five children Mary and Tony had: Ann Delores Volkavich Remy (Nunnie), Frances Marie Volkavich Remy (Fran), Edwin Anthony Volkavich (Edgie), Lottie Volkavich Lancas, Stanley Robert Volkavich (Stuchie).
