Man missing from Charleroi >From Charleroi the following special appears in the Mon. Republican: On Mon., the 8th day of July, Dan Hortzog, who keeps a grocery store in this town, disappeared from home. About the same time Miss Gertude Yohe was also missing and it is supposed by some people of this town, they left together for parts unknown, as thing has been heard of either, or their whereabouts since then. Mrs. Hertzog is still running the store, assisted by her father-in-law, Andrew Hertzog, of California. Mrs. Hertzog, was a Miss Cora Morton from near Monongahela. Friends are making vigorous search for them by telegraph and otherwise, but without success. The friends of Miss Yohe earnestly deny that she has gone off with Hertzog, but insist that her present whereabouts when developed, will show that her absence is not in any way connected with his. It is stated also that Mr. Hertzog went to Pittsburg to pay a wholesale grocery bill; that he considerable money with him, and that his disappearance is not explained by any theory consistent with his ability to return.
