I have recently learned from a distant DENORMANDIE cousin that there are a slew of DENORMANDIE's buried in Washington Cemetery (she also related this is the largest cemetery in Washington County). I happily e-mailed the cemetery and this is what I got back from them. None of my own DENORMANDIE (DE NORMANDIE) ancestors ever lived in Washington County (they lived in Bucks & Philadelphia & Charleston, SC). I am following one distant cousin's line AMOS DE NORMANDIE, b. PA abt. 1790 to Washington County to try to work out his descendants. Wondering if some kind soul might check out my DENORMANDIE's for me in this cemetery. I presume they may be buried close to one another? Here is e-mail received.
