MCCLAIN, BROCKMAN, QUINN, YATES, NICHOLS, WILSON, ANDREWS, MCCOY, BERMAN Mrs. Margaret MCCLAIN died at five o'clock Tuesday morning, January 23, 1917, at the home of her son, Daniel MCCLAIN, at Reissing, of dropsy. She was in her 79th year. She is survived by four sons: Daniel of Reissing, Robert of McDonald, James of Venice and George of Canonsburg. Funeral services were held Wednesday evening at the home of her son, Robert MCCLAIN, 229 Arabella street, McDonald. Interment took place Thursday at Kittanning. Frank BROCKMAN, aged 2 months and 25 days, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. BROCKMAN of Saxonburg, Pa., died on Wednesday, January 17, 1917. The child was in good health on Tuesday but was found dead on Wednesday morning, having died between one and six o'clock that morning. When first discovered it was thought the child had smothered. Dr. W. W. LASHIER of Saxonburg was called and Coroner J. Charles DENGLER was notified. The investigation conducted showed that the child had died from pneumonia contracted during the night. Besides the parents he is survived by two brothers, James and William. Interment was made in the Summit cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. BROCKMAN were formerly of Midway. Administrator's Notice: Estate of Mrs. Annie QUINN, deceased of Cherry Valley, Pa. Thomas MULLIGAN, Administrator, McDonald, Pa. *No obit found Card of Thanks: Charles YATES thanks friends and neighbors for their help at the death of his wife, Margaret. They lived in Sturgeon, Pa. It is dated January 24, 1917. Mr. and Mrs. Robert FENWICK, Mr. and Mrs. Claude MCGEE and Mrs. John T. PATTERSON attended the funeral of their nephew, Andrew NICHOLS, at Brownsville on Wednesday. *Sturgeon column Samuel WILSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. WILSON, died at his home at 4:50 o'clock Friday evening, January 19, 1917, after an illness of pneumonia. He was 9 years and 3 months old. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Glen BLACKWOOD and Mrs. Edward MELLOR of Monongahela, Ronald, James, Martha and Warren at home. Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. Interment was in the Center cemetery. *Midway column Those from here who attended the funeral of Mr. Edward ANDREWS, Sr., of New England, were Mr. and Mrs. Edward ANDREWS and family, Mrs. Harriet DUNKS and son Bennie, Mrs. Annie FELTON and daughter Bertha, and Miss Martha Ann KENDALL. *Midway column Mrs. Martha MCCOY and family, Mrs. Annie FELTON, and Mrs. Lizzie FERRIS attended the funeral of Mrs. George MCCOY at Steubenville, Ohio, on Tuesday. Mrs. MCCOY died Saturday morning, January 20, 1917, of appendicitis. She leaves her husband and two children, a boy of ten and a girl of four. *Midway column One of the BERMEN twins died on Monday morning, January 22, 1917, at nine o'clock. The child was four weeks old. It had been ill for a few days. *Midway column
