    3. Is anyone researching the CLUTTER family? Sarah Clutter married Milton B. Walton 10 Sep 1873. They lived in the Tenmile Creek area, and are both buried in Beallsville Cemetery. I would like to know Sarah's parents. Thank you, Jeannette

    3. I wouldn't mind knowing something about the Clutters too. I note I have three separate Clutter's marrying into lines of interest in the Washington Co., PA area but no connection among the three lines. One marriage was to an IAMS, one a PENN who was the grand daughter of an IAMS (there are also BANEs in her tree) and one to a SWART woman. And the timing is about what you're talking too; mid 19th century. BTW, your name seems familiar. Have we exchanged e-mail before? I know that Ascenah Walton married Philip Leonard Swart in 1818 and Philip was the son of Jacob Swart and Sarah Evans, a sister of my 4ggrandfather Washington Evans. This was all in Amwell Twp., Washington Co., PA. Is this where your Waltons are from?
