New Washington Co PAGenWeb Pages Mr. Quentin Werner submitted the James Chapel United Methodist (Stone Church) Cemetery List, which has over 1,200 entries (I counted them LOL). (Note: this number includes some duplication, because the list was alphabetized and cross-referenced.) I had to copy-paste each item for each cell / row, so it took me a while to set up the webpages. This is a very old cemetery with war veterans, and apparently is still an active cemetery since I found a couple obits online from the 1990s. The main index for all cemeteries is here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~pawashin/cemetery/index.html Please start here for important info about James Chapel and this cemetery census: http://www.rootsweb.com/~pawashin/cemetery/james-chapel_information.html Every page has an alpha-link index at the top and bottom of the pages to make it easy to go back and forth. The links are working. But I noticed some minor alignment problems--I'll fix those when I have time. Thank you, Mr. Werner, for sharing this cemetery data. If you want to add comments to *any* name in *any* cemetery, send me the info. Also, if you spot a deceased's name, obit, funeral notice, or history on another website, send me the URL and name (don't forget to tell me the deceased's name-LOL) and which cemetery, I can add a link going to whatever website or message board where the info is posted. This will help so researchers know an Obit or other info is online. Hope you find your ancestors! Judy Florian As always, give the on-site search engines time to index the names. Until then, you'll need to manually browse. -- Washington County PA Websites: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~florian/ http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~florian/ http://freepages.religions.rootsweb.com/~florian/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~pawashin/
