John George Stegmeyer (b. 1804-1811; d. Bef. 1880) married Anna Mary Catherine Bernleyer (b. 10 Feb 1810; d. 13 Oct 1890). Both were born in Ulzstetten, Wurttemberg, Germany. Their daughter, Dora Stakemeyer (b. 28 Jan 1851; d. 20 Mar 1943), married James Newman (b. 21 Nov 1844; d. 25 Jul 1899) on 27 Dec 1888 in Washington, Washington Co., PA. Any information on what became of this family in 1860 and 1870; and what became of Dora Stakemeyer's siblings would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to know if Barbara Plymire and Joanna Plymire might somehow be related since they are living in the previous household and their parents were also born in Wurttemberg, Germany. So any information on these two sisters would be greatly appreciated. Jim Danley Vista, CA jldanley@sbcglobal.net
