On the STERLING farm at Venice the Meyers Oil Company has completed five excellent producers, one well being good for over one hundred barrels per day. Five new wells have been started, two of them being located within 200 feet of the one hundred barrel gusher. These wells are all in old territory which was drilled during the oil excitement at McDonald, and there are several old wells close to the new producers which are yielding as much oil as when they were drilled in 20 years ago.
