    3. Linda, That must have been an old, old posting you saw. Anyway, one good source for reprints of old history books is located at the following site: http://www.higginsonbooks.com/ I might have an original copy around somewhere that I could sell you but it would be a lot more expensive and I don't know how long it would take me to dig it out of the mess I call my library. An original can cost from $150.00 to $400.00 depending on condition etc. You also might find a copy on CD that is less expensive than a reprint from Higginson but I personally don't like them as I find them hard to use. Best place to find CD's is on ebay. I find nothing easier to use than good old paper. With over 2000 genealogy related books I can never put my hands on what I want. Some of my books elude me for years. Then I can't remember why I wanted to find it. The book that I was referencing was "The History of Morris County......." by Edmund D. Halsey and originally published in 1882. Other histories for Morris County include: "A History of Morris County.... 1710-1913" ed. by Henry C. Pitney and published by the Lewis Hist. Pub. Co., in 1914(2 vols.) and; "Northwestern New Jersey: a History of Somerset, Morris, Hunterdon, Warren and Sussex Counties...." ed. by A. Van Doran Honeyman and published by the Lewis Hist. Pub. Co., in 1927 (4 vols.) and; "BIOGRAPHICAL & GENEALOGICAL HISTORY OF MORRIS COUNTY" 2 volumes, 803p. (Lewis Hist. Pub. Co.; 1899). Anyway, just tell Richard at Higginson that I sent you and have a Merry Christmas. Jack W.
