STEELE, CONN, CRAMER, BROWN Mrs. Guy STEELE, aged 30 years, died at her home in Sharon, Pa., on Thursday, February 4th. Mrs. STEELE's maiden name was Estella Elizabeth HALEY, and well and favorably known here, where she resided for a number of years. Mrs. STEELE is survived by her husband and little daughter, Laverne, her mother, Mrs. Jane HALEY, three sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Mary B. CONN, aged 73 years, wife of A. B. CONN died at the family home in Noblestown Tuesday evening, Feb. 2, at eleven o'clock. Mrs. CONN was born on the farm at Shaw mines, and resided near Florence for a number of years after her marriage. The family came to Noblestown about eighteen years ago and have lived there since. Her husband and the following sons and daughters survive: Jennie at home, Mrs. Alfred TUCKER of Florence, Mrs. John MCCOMBS, of near Five Points, Mrs. Margaret GRAHAM of Noblestown, Charles P. of Noblestown, Matthew P. of Burgettstown, Edward, of Frankfort Springs, Andrew and James at home. Also a brother in California. Funeral services were held from the home Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment at Candor. Mrs. Jennie HALL CRAMER, wife of the late J. D. CRAMER, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James B. CAMPBELL, of Niles, at about midnight Friday, January 22. The deceased was born October 3, 1840, in Pittsburg, but at an early age went to Hubbard, where she was married and spent the greater part of her life. In her early childhood days she united with the Liberty U. P. church but after her marriage transferred her membership to the Hubbard Presbyterian church and her life was characterized by an earnest piety. She leaves to mourn her loss, four sisters, Miss Kate HALL, Mrs. S. P. CRAMER, Mrs. James MCMURRAY, of Hubbard, and Mrs. Robert WOODS, of Pittsburg, and one brother, Wm. HALL of Brazil, Ind. She also leaves two sons and two daughters, Wm. H. and Robert W. CRAMER, and Mrs. James B. CAMPBELL and Mrs. Robert BELL. Brief funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter in Niles, after which the remains were taken to Hubbard. Services were held from the old HALL family residence, and were conducted by her pastor, Rev. TOENSMEIR of Niles, assisted by Rev. LANG and Rev. TRACY of Hubbard. Mr. and Mrs. CRAMER and family lived at McDonald in the late '80's when their son, W. H. CRAMER, was proprietor of the McDonald Record. They moved from here to Charleroi in 1900 where the father and sons owned the Daily Mail. At the death of her husband in June, 1902, Mrs. CRAMER went to Niles, O., to live with her daughter. Word was received her Thursday evening of the death in Wilkinsburg, of David A. BROWN, principal of the Soho schools, Fifth avenue, Pittsburg, and a former resident of Hickory. Mr. BROWN's death occurred at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home, 720 Glenn avenue, Wilkinsburg, after an illness of more than two months. David. A. BROWN was born Jan. 19, 1875, at what is now Acheson station on the Wabash railroad. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. BROWN, of Acheson, who both survive. The BROWN family is on of the oldest and most prominent in this section and has many connections throughout the entire country. After receiving a common school education David A. BROWN taught for a number of years. For three years he was in Morris school in Mt. Pleasant township and then went to Hickory academy. He later attended the Slippery Rock Normal school, graduated in 1898. After his graduation he became principal of the Burgettstown high school, going from there to Springdale in Allegheny county and thence to Pittsburg, where he had been for the past two years. Mr. BROWN was a particularly earnest young man giving his best to his chosen profession and had many friends in his new home at Pittsburg. During Thanksgiving week Mr. BROWN was taken ill of grippe which later developed into pneumonia. Two weeks ago his condition was very serious but he rallied and it was thought he was on the road to recovery. He suffered a relapse early Thursday morning and his death followed in the afternoon. Besides his father, his wife, who was Miss Mable BENNETT, of Rochester, N. Y. and the following brothers and sisters survive; John of Acheson; Miss Dorothy of Tarentum; William, Jennie and Margaret at home; Dr. W. E. BROWN of Pittsburg and Russell BROWN a student of New Wilmington. Dr. Joseph MCELROY and John C. BROWN, of Hickory, are uncles. The deceased was a member of the First United Presbyterian church of Wilkinsburg, and funeral services will be held at that church on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Hickory cemetery Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
