On Friday evening, Jan. 10th, the neighbors and friends of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. WHITE, to the number of over 100 gathered at their home and celebrated the 20th anniversary of their marriage. The affair was gotten up and carried out by the near neighbors. Albert R. WHITE and Minnie DONALDSON WHITE were married in the home in which they now live, it being the homestead of Jacob M. DONALDSON, where they have lived except a few years spent in Columbus, O. and Woodrow. Mr. and Mrs. WHITE were the recipients of many pretty china and cut glass presents and a purse of money. An elegant four course luncheon was served by the ladies under the management of Mr. and Mrs. Cal. HERRON, Mr. and Mrs. Robert LOWRY, Alvin DINSMORE and sister Adaline, Misses Mary Belle STEWART, Mary DONALDSON, Grace DINSMORE and Walton DAVIDSON. Those present from a distance were Mrs. Dr. MCCLURE of Columbus, Ohio, sister of the bride, Misses Mattie WHITE and Anna WOODS of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. DONALDSON of Houston and Mr. and Mrs. Robert PEACOCK of McDonald. There were quite a number present who attended the ceremony 20 years ago. All left at a late hour wishing Mr. and Mrs. WHITE many happy returns of their anniversary.
