WILES, COVINSKI, STEWART, BAILEY John WILES was called to Petrolia, W. Va., on account of the death of his father which occurred early Thursday morning. On Friday morning, March 5, infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John COVINSKI, of Brier Hill. Interment at Noblestown, Friday evening. Died, at the home of his parents in Chicago, Monday evening, William J. STEWART, brother of S. C. STEWART of McDonald, aged about 46 years. Mr. STEWART has been ailing for several years and his death was not unexpected by his relatives. S. C. STEWART left on Tuesday afternoon for Chicago to attend the funeral which was conducted on Thursday morning. William S. BAILEY, 72 years old formerly commissioner of Washington county died at the family home near Candor on Saturday. Mr. BAILEY had been ill only a short time, and a complication of diseases, coupled with his increasing years, caused his death. Mr. BAILEY was born in Washington county and had resided here all his life. He was a lifelong Republican, and had always taken an active part in Republican politics, local, state and national. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Alice ADAMS of Illinois, and four sons, Max, of California, Samuel of Pittsburg; Austin, of Illinois; John at home. Mr. BAILEY is also survived by two brothers. The funeral was held at the BAILEY home at 1 o'clock Monday. The interment was made in Candor cemetery.
