    1. Re: [PAWASHIN] Monongahela Library
    2. Judy's website has transcriptions of the Bebout & Yohe funeral records through 1915. But a visit to the Monongahela Library is definitely worthwhile. They have the original Bebout & Yohe books covering many decades - up to the 1970s, as I recall. The funeral books are indexed in the front of each volume, but there is no master index. They are stored in a closet in the locked local history room; the library staff will let you in after you sign in at the front desk. Also in that room are lots of local history books and the Monongahela Republican on microfilm. If your family members are buried in Monongahela Cemetery, you might want to visit the cemetery office, which I believe is open weekdays until 4 or 4:30. They can provide a copy of the burial record, which sometimes contains genealogical info, and direct you to the gravesite(s). The cemetery is a just a few minutes' drive from the library. Happy hunting!
