Hi Cuz, When I'm working on these names I always like to send to the lists, instead of in private, for there are so many learned and experienced GENI's out there, that are also working on these names. Just a mention of a date, name etc, can open many doors for all our other cuz's working on their charts. I haven't worked on ELIZABETH BETSEY FOX, interesting that both of her grandfather's fought in The Revolutionary War. Would you please send to me the obit that you mentioned? CARPE DIEM, Lori >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi Lori, Glad to hear from a fellow FOX cousin! The Joseph Newton and Martin Peter you have sound like what I have. The dates are almost the same. How are they related to the John Peter FOX II you mentioned? I have an obit for Elizabeth Betsy FOX that states she had two grandfathers in the Revolutionary War. And, one of them was decorated by George Washington at Valley Forge!! So, did you find anything on the other names listed on her (Elizabeth Betsey FOX) death record for her parents? I think that the Martin FOX and Nancy MARTIN are the correct parents for her, but I'm trying to verify it. She was 91 when she died, maybe they got it wrong. I have a Peter Martin b. abt 1771 in Maryland for Nancy’s father. There sure are a lot of Peters and Martins in that family. It must have been a popular name. I am also familiar with the name change FOX/FUCHS. I was trying to connect Joseph to father, Isaac FOX and his father Johannes John Peter FOX (FOX I) as I found it on WorldConnect.
