Eva L. Cage Cole, 82, widow of Abijah H. Cole , former resident of the Hargus Creek area, died at 1 AM Wednesday, April 29, 1959, at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence Cole, of Oak Forest. A resident of Center Twp. Most of her life, she was born Oct.12, 1876 at Wadestown, W. Va., a daughter of James and Minerva Stewart Cage. She married Abijah H. Cole, who died May 19, 1950. She was a member of the Pursley Baptist Church. Surviving are six sons, Charley Cole of Pine Bank RD 1, Clyde Cole of Dunn Station RD 2, Lawrence and Delmar Cole of Massillon, Ohio, Edward Cole of Weedville, Pa., and Robert Cole of Brownsville; one daughter, Helene, wife of Raymond Minnear, of Washington RD 4; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Lou Pitcock of Waynesburg and Mrs. Bertha Edwards of Wind Ridge.
