I have a hypothetical question for anyone or everyone, please! I've been searching for my Paternal GGGrandparents forever....I'm wondering if all the heads of households of my ancestors were tenant farmers and never owned any land would they have any records anywhere. Would they be on tax lists and would they even have wills? Then, if they had no money, would they even have had tombstones. One knows they lived, I'm here! I'm just frustrated...this must be the proverbial "brick wall"! Thanks, Doris
