I will look at the book to see any relationship - the Hewitts in my family came from somewhere in the British Isles to Connecticut in the mid-1600s. Robert Hewitt appears to be the only one who left CT after the Civil War and came to PA. His daughter Abigail married Charles Haller in Washington County, MD. The family was there for a while, at least long enough for the Haller daughter to marry Francis Hamilton in 1825. Then, they all left for Ogle County, OH. I haven't done any research on the other Hewitt children who were in or may have stayed in MD. Robert Hewitt and his wife did ahave a large family so perhaps some of them are in the book you recommended. I don't think they were connected to the Huyerts you mentioned.
