When my grandmother immigrated to the US from Czechoslovakia in August of 1920, the TOKAR family took her in and was her sponsor. I have the ships manifest with her name on it, along with the sponsor, Joseph TOKAR. I have a picture of the TOKAR family with a bunch of daughters, in a tavern (?). I live in Northwest Indiana where my grandparents eventually settled down.
