On last Saturday, October 11, the children of Mr. and Mrs. John M. DONALDSON assembled at their home in honor of Mrs. DONALDSON's 82d birthday. Those of the children present were Mr. and Mrs. Robert BAMFORD and family of near Midway, Miss Sallie C. DONALDSON, the Rev. and Mrs. J. M. JAMIESON of Monessen, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. DONALDSON and Mrs. T. A. MILLER of Bellvue, Dr. H. H. DONALDSON and Mrs. DONALDSON of Pittsburgh, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. DONALDSON of near Midway, and T. B. DONALDSON and family of McDonald. Andrew R. DONALDSON and family, who are living in a Western State, were not present. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. A. STROUSS and daughter Mrs. JUNKEN, Mrs. E. J. BINGHAM and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew MILLER of Bellvue, Mrs. REID, wife of the Rev. W. J. REID, pastor of the First U. P. Church, Pittsburgh, and small daughter, Mrs. Margaret DONALDSON of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Margaret BIGGER and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. WITHERSPOON of Murdocksville, Miss Jean THOMPSON and Mrs. J. A. ASKIN of Ingram and Mrs. O. G. SCHULTZ of Morristown, New Jersey, Richard DONALDSON of near Midway and the Rev. and Mrs. J. G. REANEY of Midway. The decorations were carried out in Hallowe'en effects. The gift, a Victrola, will be enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. DONALDSON the coming winter evenings.
