Four young men from Cecil were given a hearing before Justice T. M. REESE, of Canonsburg, Saturday afternoon, one on a charge of assault and battery and the others on a charge of disorderly conduct. The arrests were made at the insistence of the Cecil township school board, several of whom appeared against the defendants at the trial. The defendants were Gus REVAUX, charged with assault and battery on Eddie HINDELL and James RECCONOS, John KENNIS, and Edward POLLARD, charged with disorderly conduct. P. G. WALKER was the prosecutor. REVAUX pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $5 and costs. KENNIS pleaded guilty and was find $2.50 and costs. RECCONOS and POLLARD pleaded not guilty and said they were not present at the trouble. They were discharged. Eight or ten witnesses were ___.
