Charleroi Mail page 1 Friday June 17, 1938 DOUBLE SERVICES FOR DROWNED PAIR Double funeral services for Paul and Andrew SIMPSON, aged 16 and 10, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. David SIMPSON, Amity, R.D. 1, two miles south of Lone Pine. The two boys drowned in Little Ten Mile Creek early Wednesday night, the elder apparently meeting death in the effort to rescue his younger brother who had gone into the stream. Neither could swim.
