Mr. and Mrs. Joseph JANESHEK of Washington avenue, Midway, were honored last Friday evening at Fallen Timber Country Club, the occasion being their 50th wedding anniversary. A dinner was served to 40 relatives in attendance. A three-tier wedding cake was the table center piece. The honor guests received a number of gifts, cards, and congratulatory messages. Mrs. JANESHEK, 75, was Mary NAGODE of Midway. She and Mr. JANESHEK, 79, were married July 15, 1933, in St. Ann's R. C. Church, Bulger, by the Rev. Fr. CASEY. The couple, both born and reared in Midway, spent their entire lives in Midway, except for ten years in Seminole, Fla, upon Mr. JANESHEK's retirement from Consolidation Coal Co., and Midway Block Co., where he was employed as a welder. Guests were present from Michigan, Canonsburg, Bulger, McDonald, Mt. Lebanon, and Midway.
