Yes, there are three cemeteries in West Alexander. The one beside the old Presbyterian church (formerly Three Ridges Presbyterian church), is very old, with many of the headstones quite worn, thus making the inscriptions unreadable. You would have to check the church records for that one at Citizens' Library in Washington, PA, or have someone do that for you. The two others are as were stated, with one being beside the old school on Main Street; however, a gentleman told me that some of its old gravestones were pitched into a small "ravine" directly behind the cemetery. The "new" cemetery, on Route 40, is right at the end of the street, down from the old school on Main Street. I think that the street that takes you to the Route 40 one is Liberty Avenue (?) or Liberty Street (?). Cindy
