    3. GODFREY, MCCREIGHT, PATNESKY, TORNABENE, SEFZIK, CAMPBELL, FEHL, BEDNAR James Stanton GODFREY of Rennerdale died Tuesday, June 21, 1983. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn; a daughter, Barbara WILCOX; two sons, William S. and Robert G. GODFREY; a sister, Alva GRIEVES; two brothers, F. Wilbur and W. Herbert GODFREY; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Friday in the Thomas and Little funeral home, Oakdale. Raymond MCCREIGHT, 57, of R. D. 5, McDonald, died Tuesday, June 21, 1983, in the St. Clair hospital. A son of Craig and Anna GRIFFITH MCCREIGHT, he was born November 22, 1925, in Midway. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy DELEUZE MCCREIGHT; four daughters, Kathy MILLER and Susan ZINGER of Bridgeville and Sandy and Sally, at home; two sons, Russel of McDonald and Nick, at home; two sisters, June POTTS and Jane LOTT of Cleveland, Ohio; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Friday morning in the Thomas and Little funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Deryl K. LARSEN, pastor of the First U. M. Church, McDonald. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Edward J. PATNESKY, 66, of Lawrence, died Wednesday, June 22, 1983, in the Canonsburg hospital. A son of Ann PETRAS PATNESKY of Lawrence, and the late Stephen PATNESKY, he was born March 18, 1917, in Tarrs. Mr. PATNESKY had been a resident of Lawrence for the past 55 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army in Italy. He was a member of the F. F. W. Post 8308, Lawrence, and the Hills-Henderson Civic Association. Prior to his retirement in 1978, he was employed by Universal Cyclops in the electric furnace department. Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, Nancy ZAVERL PATNESKY; two sons, Ronald PATNESKY of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Edward PATNESKY of Bristol, Tenn.; a daughter, Nancy, the wife of Harold SMITH of Bethel Park; four brothers, Leonard PATNESKY of R. D. 1, Cecil, Louis PATNESKY, Charles PATNESKY, and Raymond PATNESKY of Lawrence; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Blessing services were held last Saturday morning in Canonsburg, in charge of the Rev. John W. GIBSON, pastor of St. Elizabeth Church, Lawrence. Burial was in Our Queen of Heaven cemetery. Mrs. Mary K. TORNABENE, 80, of R. D. 4, McDonald, died Thursday, June 23, 1983, in the Washington hospital. She was born October 6, 1902, in Fairmont, W. Va., and was a member of St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald. Surviving are four daughters, Betty ESQUINO of Pittsburgh, Julia MCANANY of Washington, Mary Helen MATTALIANO of Dearborn, Mich., and Angie MCMURRAY of Taylor, Mich.; a son, Guy TORNABENE of R. D. 4, McDonald; a sister, Elizabeth MATTALIANO of Pittsburgh; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Joseph TORNABENE, and a daughter, Charlotte KAUFMANN, are deceased. Mass of Christian burial was held last Saturday morning in St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Francis PUCCI. Burial was in Venice cemetery. Arrangements were by the Rene R. Freville Funeral Home, Midway. Mrs. Dorothy F. SEFZIK, 60, of Sturgeon, died Saturday, June 25, 1983, in the Ohio Valley hospital. A daughter of Edmond and Augustine SERVAIS HANS, she was born October 27, 1922, in McDonald. She is survived by her husband, Raymond SEFZIK, Sr.; a daughter, Rickie SHIMON of R. D. 1, Bulger; a son, Raymond SEFZIK, Jr., of Midway; three sisters, Louise TYLER of West Virginia, Marie BLANCHARD of McDonald, and Edna Mae BITTNER of McDonald; two brothers, Louis HANS of Ohio and Delbert HANS of McDonald; and six grandchildren. A brother, Edward HANS, and a sister, Eleanor MULVEE, are deceased. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in the Thomas and Little funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. William MARTIN. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. John James CAMPBELL, 64, of Coraopolis, died Saturday, June 25, 1983. A son of the late Lawrence H. and Millie WALLACE CAMPBELL, he was born July 18, 1918, in Midway. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 402, Coraopolis, and had resided in the area for 34 years. He was a retired lay-out man for Minnotte Brothers Corp., Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy CICCONE CAMPBELL; three daughters, Mrs. Marlene HANNON of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Theresa MUCHLER of Mt. Lebanon, and Mrs. Linda GORRING of Coraopolis; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth CHAPPO of Canonsburg and Mrs. Wanda KONECKO of Slippery Rock, a brother, Garland CAMPBELL of McDonald; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Coraopolis in charge of the Rev. John HERGERT. Burial was in Coraopolis cemetery. Mrs. Evelyn K. FEHL, 67, of R. D.1, Canonsburg, died Friday, June 24, 1983, in the Canonsburg hospital. A daughter of Prudence MCEWEN KELSO of Gladden Heights, McDonald, and the late William Wallace KELSO, she was born January 8, 1926, in McDonald. Mrs. FEHL was a member of Canonsburg U. P. Church. She was an employee of Pike Pharmacy, Canonsburg. Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, Harry R. FEHL; tow sons, Robert D. FEHL of Hanover and Harry (Chip) FEHL, Jr., of R. D. 1, Canonsburg; two daughters, Mrs. James (Kathy) HEIDLER of Cambridge, Ohio, and Mrs. William (Diane) GRIMES of Bethel Park; a sister, Mrs. William (Claretta) BODER of Columbus, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Memorial services were held Tuesday evening in the Canonsburg U. P. Church, in charge of the Rev. G. Sherman OTT. Joseph J. BEDNAR, 77, of McDonald died Saturday, June 25, 1983, in his home. A son of Joseph L. and Anna GETSIE BEDNAR, he was born May 13, 1906, in Braddock. Mr. BEDNAR was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post No. 485, McDonald. He was a meat cutter before retiring and was a clarinetist in the Ringgold Band. Surviving are his wife, Ella KASSAU BEDNAR; a daughter, Ellen BEDNAR of Emsworth; two brothers, George M. BEDNAR of Bridgeville and Raymond F. BEDNAR of Staten Island, N. Y.; and three sisters, Anne ASHTON of Bridgeville, and Cecelia SCOTT and Alice LITTLE of Oakdale. Two sisters, Irene HOFFMAN and Martha BEDNAR, are deceased. A blessing service was held Tuesday morning in the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Fr. Francis L. PUCCI, pastor of St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald. Burial was in Mt. Prospect cemetery.
