Mr. and Mrs. Glenn KENNEDY of Gladden Heights, McDonald, observed their 50th wedding anniversary July 2 at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd KRAUS in McDonald. Mrs. KENNEDY was Mildred DELANEY, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas DELANEY of Sturgeon. Mr. KENNEDY is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles KENNEDY of McDonald. They were married June 29, 1933, in the Methodist Church, Canonsburg, by the late Rev. L. G. RICHEY, then pastor of the First Methodist Church, McDonald. Mr. KENNEDY was employed by the Quaker State Oil Co. until his retirement. Guests were from Virginia, West Virginia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, Burgettstown, Coraopolis, Canonsburg, Bridgeville, Oakdale, Midway, and McDonald. They are the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Carol OPENBRIER of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs. Nancy KRAUS of McDonald. They have one granddaughter, Vicki KRAUS of McDonald; and a grandson, Terry STROUSS of Virginia Beach, Va. Mr. and Mrs. KENNEDY are members of the First U. M. Church, McDonald. The honor couple received a number of cards, gifts, and flowers. A catered supper was served 125 guests.
