DEBAKER, SCHURY, WHITE, MELCHIORRE, KENCEC, WOODS Francis DEBAKER, 71, of Summit street, McDonald, died Monday, May 23, 1983, in the Allegheny General hospital, Pittsburgh. A son of Baptist and Dennis (sic) SCHIFF DEBAKER, he was born July 7, 1911, in Cecil Township. Before retiring in 1967, he worked as a wire cutter for Universal Cyclops, Bridgeville. Mr. DEBAKER was a member of the Irons Memorial U. P. Church, McDonald, where he served as an elder. He was also a member of the Reliable Fraternity Association, Bridgeville. Surviving are a son, Frank G. DEBAKER of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Shirley DEBIASIO of Oakdale, Marian Louise PRATT of Scott Township, and Lois Jean WISHMANN of Chamblee, Ga.; a sister, Blanche CARROL of McDonald; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Two brothers, Albert DEBAKER and Jules DEBAKER, are deceased. Friends are being received at the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in charge of the Rev. Donald B. PATCHEL, Pastor of Calvary U. P. Church, McDonald. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park. Mrs. Mary E. SCHURY, 64, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, May 17, 1983, in the Washington hospital. A daughter of the late Harvey E. and Mary BRIDGE JOHNS, she was born October 18, 1918, in McDonald. Surviving are her husband, Charles SCHURY; three sons, James H. WHITE of Waukegan, Ill., Charles E. SCHURY of Brownsville, and Randolph S. SCHURY of Washington; a daughter, Margaret J. KOBALY of Washington; a sister, Margaret ZOOG of Largo, Fla., and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon in Houston in charge of the Rev. John HANIFORD. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Miss Elizabeth A. WHITE, 79, of the Passavant Retirement Center, Zelienople, died Wednesday, May 18, 1983, in North Hills Passavant hospital. A daughter of John P. and Mary Ann MILLER WHITE, she was born October 24, 1904, in Mt. Pleasant Township. She graduated from Wooster College in 1927 and was postmistress at Carnegie Institute of Technology for many years. She was a retired teacher and had taught in Cross Creek Township and Homer City. She had resided in the Passavant Retirement Center for the past four years. She was a member of the Hickory U. P. Church. Surviving are three brothers, Clare M. WHITE of Hickory, Rowland H. (Pete) WHITE of Columbus, Ohio, and John P. WHITE of Virginia, and a number of nieces and nephews. A brother, Edward H. WHITE, two half-brothers, J. MCCALMONT and J. THOMPSON, and a half-sister, Mary E. WHITE are deceased. Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Hickory U. P. Church in charge of the Rev. Harvey O. JOHNSON. Burial was in Mt. Prospect cemetery. Mrs. Mary MELCHIORRE, 86, of Tyre, died Sunday, May 15, 1983, in her home. She was born February 10, 1897, in Italy. She is survived by six daughters, Mamie LITTLE, Josephine HALLAS, and Yolanda DAVIS of Clinton, Helen COSTANZO of Pittsburgh, Rose GROWDEN of McDonald and Esther MULTUNAS of R. D. 1, Oakdale; a brother and sister in Italy, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial was held the morning of May 19 in St. Columbkille R. C. Church, Imperial, in charge of the Rev. Fr. William MILLER. Burial was in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by the Thomas and Little Funeral Home, Imperial. Mrs. Lisette (Zetta) BIGGS KENCEC, 67, of McDonald, died Thursday, May 19, 1983, in the Canonsburg hospital. A daughter of the late Joseph and Mary NASSION BIGGS, she was born January 20, 1916, in Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville. Surviving are her husband, Nick; three daughters, Judith CAPURSO of Westwood, Sharon MOON of Bridgeville, and Denise KENCEC of Carnegie; two sons, Douglas MILLER of Washington and Nick D. KENCEC, at home; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday morning in Bridgeville, in charge of the Rev. Clyde BROWN. Burial was in Melrose cemetery. Dr. Ralph N. WOODS, 62, of New Brighton, formerly of Hickory, died Saturday, May 21, 1983, in the Medical Center Hospital of Beaver County, Beaver. A son of the late Clyde A. and Alma NEVIN WOODS, he was born April 3, 1921. Dr. WOODS graduated from Hickory Vocation High School, attended Washington and Jefferson College, and was a graduate of Ohio Podiatry College, Cleveland, Ohio. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn EVANS WOODS; a brother, John F. WOODS of Evergreen, Colo.; several nieces, and one nephew. A brother, James C. WOODS, is deceased. Services and burial took place in Beaver.
