    3. HALLAM, OLSHINSKY, ROGERS, BROWETT, BRIDGEN, DAWSON Mrs. Matilda LACEY HALLAM, 83, of R. D. 3, Canonsburg, formerly of McDonald, died Wednesday, August 10, 1983, in her home. A daughter of the late Thomas and Barbara KLIER LACEY, she was born March 25, 1900, in Industry. Surviving are four sons, Edward HALLAM of Tionesta, John HALLAM of Port Lavaca, Texas, Charles Richard HALLAM of Greensburg, and Daniel HALLAM of Midway; five daughters, Matilda MACKEY and Gladys FLINT of Melbourne, Fla., Lillian SMITH of Barefoot Bay, Fla., Edith MARIANI of Cecil, and Iris MEDVID of Carnegie; two brothers, Daniel LACEY of Kirwan Heights and Charles LACEY of McDonald; two sisters, Lillian MASQUELIER of Jackson, Mich., and Sadie ASTON of Bridgeville; 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Deryl K. LARSEN, pastor of the First U. M. Church, McDonald. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Louis E. OLSHINSKY, 72, of Sturgeon, died Wednesday, August 10, 1983, in the Ohio Valley hospital, McKees Rocks. A son of Martin and Josephine WADE OLSHINSKY, he was born April 21, 1911, in Cecil Township. Mr. OLSHINSKY was a member of the Noblestown U. P. Church. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired coal miner. Surviving are his wife, Ethel SHOOK OLSHINSKY; a daughter, Donna PARKO of Florida; a son, Leo OLSHINKSY of Sturgeon; a sister, Helen BEHNE of Carnegie; two brothers, Frank OLSHINSKY of McDonald and Albert OLSHINSKY of Morgan, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Saturday morning in the Noblestown U. P. Church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Robert LARIMER. Burial was in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Arrangements were in charge of the Thomas and Little Funeral Home, Oakdale. Wilfred ROGERS, 73, of R. D. 3, McDonald, died Saturday, August 13, 1983, in the Washington hospital. A son of Daniel and Mary Elizabeth ROGERS, he was born April 2, 1910, in Maynard, Ohio. He had been a coal miner, a steelworker, and had also worked as a landscaper. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army. Surviving are a son, Harold BUTLER of Canonsburg; a nephew, two nieces, 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several great-nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Allen, Charles, and Daniel; and a sister, Mary Ella, are deceased. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in Houston. Burial was in Venice cemetery. Mrs. Drina L. BROWETT, 66, of Fairfax, Va., formerly of McDonald, died Sunday, August 14, 1983, in her home. A daughter of the late Raymond and Florence MANDALE CHARLIER, she was born May 6, 1917, in Pennsylvania. She is survived by a son, Richard L. BROWETT of Sterling, Va.; two sisters, Florence HENNON of Greensburg and Margaret BURNS of Derwood, Md.; and two grandchildren. Her husband, Louis J. BROWETT, is deceased. Memorial services were held Tuesday in Falls Church, Va. Mrs. Betty CENIS BRIDGEN, 57, of Roanoke, Va., daughter of Clara KAUFMANN CENIS of Roanoke, and the late Joseph CENIS, formerly of McDonald and Sewickley, died Thursday, August 11, 1983, in Roanoke. Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, Robert G. BRIDGEN; two daughters, Susan B. LATTIMORE of Roanoke, and Rebecca E. BRIDGEN of Knoxville, Tenn.; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy C. ROGERS of Uniontown, Ohio. There are a number of relatives in the McDonald area. Graveside services were held Monday morning in Sewickley cemetery. Mrs. Elizabeth DAWSON, wife of Joseph A. DAWSON of Imperial, died Sunday, August 14, 1983. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mary LEE and Mrs. Nancy JACKSON; a son, Joseph D. DAWSON; a brother, Leslie BOWLAND; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Church of the Living Christ, Imperial. Funeral arrangements were by the Harold K. Wharton Funeral Home, Imperial.
