A daughter of Robert G. and Clara WALLACE LAING, she was born June 19, 1925, in Elizabeth. Mrs. MCCONNELL was a member of the Houston U. P. Church and had been secretary of the Allison Park Elementary School, Chartiers-Houston School District, since 1966. Surviving are her husband, Fred B. MCCONNELL; a daughter, Kyle COCHRAN and a son, Kevin MCCONNELL, both of Missouri City, Texas; two brothers, Robert A. LAING of Cecil and Wallace J. LAING of Berea, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Edyth BRINKMAN of Elizabethtown, and two grandchildren. A sister, Margaret LAWSON, is deceased. Funeral services were held last Friday morning in Houston, in charge of the Rev James A. ADAIR. Burial was in Venice cemetery. Mrs. Frances NAGODE, 74, of Bulger, died Tuesday, July 26, 1983, in the Washington hospital. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank PENTAR, she was born March 29, 1909, in Cliff Mine. She was a member of St. Ann's R. C. Church, Bulger. Surviving are her husband, Frank NAGODE; a daughter, Donna ZALAZNIK of R. D. 1, Bulger; a son, Donald L. NAGODE of R. D. 3, McDonald; three sisters, Mary DERGLIN of Aliquippa, Martha ATKINSON of Elmira, and Matilda DIANLHER of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. D. 4, McDonald, died Wednesday, July 27, 1983, in the Washington hospital. A daughter of John and Olive ECKLES CLARKE, she was born December 25, 1904, in South Franklin Township. Mrs. HERRIOTT was a member of the Venice U.P. Church, the church Missionary Society, the Hickory Farm WOMEN, and the Washington Homemakers Club. Surviving are her husband, John W. HERRIOTT; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Lou) CARTER of Steubenville, Ohio, Mrs. Ned (Lola Olive) THOMAS of Cambridge, Ohio, Mrs. Charles (Eleanor) WILSON of R. Warner Wilbert MASSEY, 70, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Midway, died Wednesday, July 27, 1983, in Dallas. A son of the late Warner and Jennie CAMPBELL MASSEY of Midway, he was born August 25, 1913, in Ingram. Survivors include his wife, Sue BARON MASSEY; a son, Warner of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Judy MASSEY EDDY of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Gilbert Campbell MASSEY of Illinois and Barton MASSEY of Midway; a sister, Isabel DOWLER of Irving, Texas; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Friday in Dallas. Henry G. DILEY, Sr., 68, of R. D. 1, Joffre, died Tuesday, July 26, 1983, in the Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, W. Va. A son of George Henry and Mary JENKINS DILEY, he was born April 29, 1915, in Pittsburgh. He was a retired coal miner and furnace mechanic. Surviving are five sons, Henry DILEY, Jr., of Cross Creek, Thomas DILEY of East Springfield, Ohio, Joseph DILEY of Weirton, W. Va., Donald DILEY of Chester, W. Mrs. Catherine COOLE, 85, of Southview, died Saturday, July 30, 1983, in Lorain, Ohio. The daughter of George and Sara GREATHOUSE POSTLEWATE, she was born March 12, 1898, in Wileyville, W. Va. Surviving are a daughter, Blondell MAMRAK of Vermilion, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Walter C. COOLE, died January 31, 1975. Burial was in Venice cemetery. Mrs. Doris L. BARNES, 74, of Lawrence, died Monday, August 1, 1983, in the Canonsburg hospital. A daughter of Charles and Anna MCCARTY HAWKINS, she was born June 12, 1909, in McDonald. A resident of Lawrence the past 49 years, she was a member of the Fawcett Methodist Church and the Hills-Henderson Civic Association. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Dolores) LANTZ of Washington; two sons, Richard L. BARNES and Gerald E. BARNES of Lawrence; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Helen) MOUNTS of Houston, Esther SHARKEY of R. D. 2, Canonsburg, and Mrs. George (Betty) HENRY of R. GREEN, 20, of Zelienople, formerly of Midway, died Sunday, July 31, 1983, in the North Hills Passavant hospital. A son of Susan COLLINS GREEN and the late James GREEN, he was born April 26, 1963, in Pittsburgh. Besides his mother, he leaves a brother, John W. GREEN, at home; and his grandparents, Mrs. Clodya COLLINS of Moon Township and Mr. and Mrs. George GREEN of Green Tree. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in the Wharton funeral home, Imperial, in charge of the Rev. Michael DAVIS, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Coraopolis. Burial was in the Mt. Lebanon cemetery, Pittsburgh.
