I've been researching information on the daughter of C. H. Chandler of Charleroi who m. Lawrence C. Phipps. From what I have so far, I have the date of 1898 as the day that they m. in Charleroi, but have not found any other information pertaining to this. They were moving in high society circles and would presume that they had a substantial wedding announcement somewhere. (?) Besides checking at the courthouse, does anyone have any other suggestions re: where to look for earlier wedding articles?
