Barbara, the cemetery by the church dates back to the 1700s-1800s, but as I said, the stones are hard to read. To check on names on those stones, you would have to go to Citizens' Library and research the records for the Three Ridges Presbyterian Church. At least that way, you could see if your ancestors attended there. The little cemetery by the old school also has very old graves, but the last time I was there, many of the stones were readable. I forget when the "newer" cemetery was incorporated, however. If you do not live in Washington County, perhaps you could call the library and request a search or go to their online site, http://www.citlib.org Another source you might try is at the Law Library in the Washington County courthouse. I am referring to "Miscellaneous Cemeteries, Washington County, PA," coordinator Irene P. Lignian, C.G. This publication comes in several volumes. You might contact Pat Stavovy, assistant law librarian, and she could help you. She can be reached at 724-228-6747. If you would ask her, she would look your names up for you, as she is very nice.
