    3. The following school reports were extracted from the Washington Observer dated Nov. 15, 1894: Report of Centerville School No. 1 for 2nd month ending Nov. 9, 1894. Number enrolled for month, males, 26; females, 29; total, 55. Average attendance, males, 22; females, 24; total 46. Per cent of attendance, males, 87; females, 91; total, 89. Those not missing a day during the month: Charley Sheppard, Clyde and Clint Powell, James, Sammy and Alta May Chesure, Eli Wolfe, John White, Joe and Helen Emery, Norman Yorty, John Farquhar, Raymond, Mary and Kate Stathers, Cleaver Jones, Walter Carter, Curt Bailey, Ethel and Vera Deaves, Edith Griffith, Rosalie Quail, Nettie Carter, Mary McKay and Clarence Floyd. There were also many that missed but one day. Patrons, directors and all those interested in the advancement of education are invited to visit and lend a helping hand in the way of encouragement.
