This is a bit of a mixed bag...mostly little news tid-bits, and one obit. +++++++++++++ “Charleroi Mail”, Nov. 30, 1910 Lover Mrs. Larry Gassitt and children of Fredericktown, are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hopewell. Mr. and Mrs. George Lee and little son have moved from the Hiram Stillwell house to Independence where they will make their home. Miss Stella Robison is visiting her sister, Mrs. Lee of Independence. Mrs. Emma Winn it of Seneaville, Ohio, is visiting relatives in this vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Duvall, Mr. and Mrs. Blane Duvall, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Duvall of this place spent Sunday with Jefferson Duvall near Bentleyville, whose health does not improve. James Pees of Eighty Four was a recent guest of his cousin, A. B. Waller. Miss Mayme Craig of Uniontown, who spent about five weeks with Miss Bertie Waller has returned to her home. North Charleroi J. P. Peterman, the affable salesman of the Valley Crystal Ice and Storage company, has returned from a hunting trip and visit with his people near Conneaut Lake. Mr. Peterson spent considerable time in the wilds and sale lots of cotton tails, quails, pheasants, squirrels, and numerous other bipeds and quadrupeds, and it is said, lost a considerable quantity of good active powder and costly shot in an endeavor to convince some of the game that it was dead. His best efforts however, only brought him two bunnies and a biped he calls a pheasant, so his most intimate friends quote. FORMER CHARLEROI WOMAN DIES AT HER HOME IN MICHIGAN Word was received by Mrs. William Moss of Washington avenue last evening of the death of her sister, Mrs. J. F. Shively, 32 years old, yesterday morning at Jackson, Mich. Mrs. Moss left today in company with her brother, George M. Browning of Pittsburg to attend the funeral which will be held Saturday morning. The husband and two children survive. Mrs. Shively who was before her marriage, Miss Bird Browning, was quite well known in Charleroi where she spent some time with her sister.
