The Charleroi Mail, Monessen, PA; Tuesday, June 03, 1913 Beallsville Miss Lena MILLER, after spending the past few weeks with her aunts, Mrs. Leroy HUMES, of Mars, Butler county; Mrs. John MILLER of Pittsburg and Mrs. Stanton LUTES of Charleroi, returned to her home in the village, Saturday. Robert COULSON, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. James BAKER of Beallsville, who began the baseball season with the Kansas City team, has been sold to the Portland Club of the Pacific Coast League. Oddy ABBOTT of Monongahela is playing in this league, beginning with the champion Oaklands. Friday afternoon at the Oak Grove Presbyterian church in West Pike Run township the annual Memorial Day exercises of William Horton Post, No. 518, G.A. R., of Centerville, were held. The Rev. H. H. RYLAND of Coal Centere delivered the Memorial Day address.
