    3. “Charleroi Mail”, May 27, 1933 - TAYTOR, MAUND, PELZER Despondent Man, 43, Ends Life with Gun Uniontown, PA., May 27 – Despondency over ill health was revealed by the coroner today as the motive behind the suicide of Charles Bestwick Taytor, 43, a former Florida educator, whose body, with a bullet through the temple, was found in the home of parents at Grays Landing. TWO TINY PLAYMATES DIE WITHIN 48 HOURS AT NORTH CHARLEROI ----- A tiny sand-box in the yard adjoining North Charleroi homes was ownerless today. James Maund, aged 3 years, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Walter D. Maund, 708 Water street, died Thursday after a 16-hour attack of convulsions. An intestinal obstruction caused the attack. This morning Carl Pelzer, aged two and one-half years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Pelzer, next door neighbors of the Maunds, died after a brief attack of pneumonia. The two children were almost raised together, learned to walk within a week of each other and played together in a tiny plot of the adjoining yards. Carl Mathias Pelzer died this morning at 6:30 o’clock. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Monday afternoon, Interment in Monongahela Cemetery. Rev. G. M. Dougherty, pastor of the M. E. Church will officiate.
