ENGEL, MULLIGAN, FONTE, VINCENTI, STRATTON, SOVA Harvey N. ENGEL, 72, of R. D. 4, McDonald, died Tuesday, October 4, 1983 in the Washington hospital. A son of Andrew and Joan PHILLIPS ENGEL, he was born April 10, 1911, in Canonsburg. He was a farmer and a member of the Hickory U. P. church. He was married to the late Catherine FOLKENS ENGEL. Two children and a brother are deceased. Funeral services were held the morning of October 6 in Houston in charge of the Rev. Harvey O. JOHNSON. Burial was in Mt. Prospect cemetery. Miss Margaret A. MULLIGAN, 89, of Main and Grove streets, McDonald, died Thursday October 6, 1983, in the St. Clair hospital. A daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret CARROLL MULLIGAN, she was born September 18, 1894, in McDonald. A former service representative for Bell of Pennsylvania, she retired in 1949. She was a member of St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald. Surviving are a brother, William R. MULLIGAN, and a sister, Loretta MULLIGAN SWINNEY, of McDonald. A sister, Rose, is deceased. Mass of Christian burial was held Monday morning in St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Fr. Francis L. PUCCI. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Mrs. Elizabeth M. FONTE, 76, of Lawrence, died Wednesday, October 5, 1983, in the Canonsburg hospital. A daughter of Michael and Mary BOACH BELLIS, she was born December 31, 1906, in Braddock. She spent most of her life in Lawrence. Surviving are a son, Joseph (Toby) FONTE, with whom she made her home in Lawrence for the past 30 years; a daughter, Mrs. Cornelius (Nancy) Walker of Cecil; two sisters, Mary GABER and Mrs. Peter (Ann) GAULAZZI of Bridgeville; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Joseph W. FONTE, died in 1958. Two brothers, Michael BELLIS and Andy BELLIS, and a sister, Margaret DEREN, are deceased. A blessing service was held last Friday in Canonsburg. Burial was in Jefferson Memorial Park. Joseph M. VINCENTI, 75, of R. D. 4, McDonald, died Monday, October 10, 1983, in the Canonsburg hospital. A son of the late Dominick and Catherine VINCENTI, he was born July 17, 1908, in Primrose, Mt. Pleasant Township, Washington County. Mr. VINCENTI, who was owner of a service station in Primrose for 40 years, was a member of the McDonald Sportsmen's Club, V. F. W. Post 567, McDonald, and St. Alphonsus R. C. Church, McDonald. Surviving are his wife, Mary BURGER VINCENTI; a daughter, Delores HOAG of R. D. 4, McDonald; a son, Donald VINCENTI of R. D. 4, McDonald; a sister, Joanne KESSLER of McDonald; two brothers, Arthur VINCENTI of R. D. 4, McDonald and Raymond VINCENTI of Burgettstown; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A brother, Lewis, is deceased. Friends are being received at the Thomas and Little funeral home, McDonald. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in St. Alphonsus R. C. CHURCH, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Francis L. PUCCI. Burial will be in Robinson's Run cemetery. William STRATTON, 54, of R. D. 2, Zelienople, a native of Midway, died Wednesday, September 28, 1983, in North Hills Passavant hospital. A son of the late Samuel STRATTON, and Mrs. Cleo HOLLAND STRATTON of Aliquippa, he was born December 18, 1928, in Midway. He was employed as a mechanic by Halstead Industries, Zelienople, and was a member of Harmony-Zelienople U. M. Church. Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, Joan CLELAND STRATTON; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) LOGAN of Irwin; two sons, Alan W. STRATTON of Chicora and Keith D. STRATTON of Ellwood City; a sister, Mrs. Clyde (Betty Lou) NALE of Aliquippa; a brother, Robert STRATTON of Aliquippa; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held the morning of October 1 in Zelienople. Burial was in Zelienople cemetery. Michael SOVA, 75, of Oakdale, died Friday, October 7, 1983. He was born September 6, 1908. Surviving are his wife, Mary METRO SOVA; two brothers, Steve SOVA and Paul SOVA; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday morning in St. Patrick's R. C.
