From 1893 - 1906 death records were filed at the courthouse and in many instances the cemetery was noted ( but not always) Prior to 1893, churches would be your best bet. Records for deaths after 1906 are at the vital statistics office in New Castle http://www.dsf.health.state.pa.us/health/cwp/view.asp?a=168&q=229939 This is the website for the PA Dept of Health. There are order forms that you can download that will tell you all the information you need to fill out. The last time I ordered any death certificates, they were $9.00 each. Good luck.
