MYERS, LABUTIS, ELLIS, PORTER, ZEIGLER, MGRDICHAN Miss Maud E. MYERS, 65, of Coal Street, McDonald, died Tuesday, January 3, 1984, in the Canonsburg hospital. A daughter of the late Charles A. and Maud ANDERSON MYERS, she was born March 13, 1918, in Cecil Township. She was a grocery clerk at the defunct A. & P. in McDonald for many years. She was a member of the Calvary U. P. Church, McDonald, the Golden Link Class, the Women's Association, the church choir, the Homemakers, and the McDonald Garden Club. She is survived by a niece, Dorothy Cooper, with whom she resided, and several other nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Harold, John, and Charles, and three sisters, Lottie CARL, Norma BERRY, and Margaret MYERS, are deceased. Friends are being received Wednesday and Thursday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, in the Calvary U. P. Church, McDonald, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Donald PATCHEL. Burial will be in Robinson's Run cemetery. Mrs. Pearl LABUTIS, 71, of Imperial, died Sunday, January 1, 1984, in the Ohio Valley hospital. A daughter of the late Robert A. and Laura ALLISON HOLLAND, she was born December 25, 1913, in North Fayette Township. She is survived by a son, Carl LABUTIS, of Imperial; a sister, Rose GEISLER of Imperial, a brother Theodore HOLLAND of Imperial; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Thomas and Little funeral home, Imperial, in charge of the Rev. Bruce OGLE. Burial was in Valley cemetery. Bradley D. ELLIS, 16, of Oakdale R. D., died Wednesday, December 28, 1983, from injuries received in an automobile accident that day in Mahoney Road near Imperial. A son of Roslyn ELLIS, he was born May 10, 1967, and was a student in West Allegheny High School. Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, Brion (sic) F. ELLIS. Funeral services were held last Saturday in the Hope Lutheran Church, Hankey Farms, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Wilford GOETZ. Burial was in Valley cemetery, Imperial. Arrangements were by the Thomas and Little Funeral Home, Imperial. Clair David PORTER, 57, of R. D. 2, McDonald, died Wednesday, December 28, 1983, in his home. A son of James Milton and Catherine SPARKENBAUGH PORTER, he was born July 31, 1926, in North Fayette Township. He was a member of the Independent Bible Presbyterian Church and was a church deacon for 14 years. Mr. PORTER was a member of USW Local 1843 and was an employee of J&L Steel Co. until retiring in June, 1978. On July 27, 1965, he married Ruth Ann RIGERT, who survives, along with a son, David James PARKER; two daughters, Kimberly Ruth and Carol Ann, both at home; a brother, James Henry PORTER of Glendale; a sister, Elizabeth MCCOMBS of West Mifflin; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Saturday morning in the Independent Bible Presbyterian Church, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Robert MCGILL. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald. Charles J. ZEIGLER, 52, of Oakdale, died Friday, December 30, 1983. He is survived by his wife, Mary Dolores ZEIGLER; his mother, Myrtle ZEIGLER; two sons, Jeff and Max ZEIGLER; three sisters, Jean SPERANZA, Thelma CROSS and Janice KRESS; and three brothers, William, Harold, and Albert ZEIGLER. Funeral services were held Monday morning in the Thomas and Little funeral home, Imperial, in charge of Rev. Donald MCNAIR, pastor of the Oakdale U. P. Church. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Mrs. Anna B. REA MGRDICHAN, 87, of R. D. 1, Hickory, died Monday, January 2, 1984, in the Hixenbaugh Nursing Home, Claysville. A daughter of Washington L., and Florence Ada CAREY BRIGGS, she was borne June 4, 1896, in Castille. Mrs. MGRDICHAN was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. She was married to Spencer BISSETT. On May 27, 1925, she married Joseph Vincent REA, who died July 19, 1951. On January 25, 1952, she married John A. MGRDICHAN, who died January 3, 1977. Surviving are a son, Howard Paul BISSETT of R. D. 1, Hickory; three daughters, Emma Virginia ARRIGO of Canton, Ohio, Mrs. John (Margaret) RAE SCHOFIELD of R. D. 1, Hickory, and Mrs. Charles R. (Stella M.) EVANS of R. D. 3, Washington; a sister, Hilda BOSSE of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Raymond BRIGGS of Washington; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Four sisters, Ica (sic) DONAHOO, Emma BRIGGS, and two who died in infancy, a brother, Forest BRIGGS, and a granddaughter, Lois Mae ULLOM, are deceased. Friends are being received at the Neal-Cowieson funeral home, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in charge of the Rev. Roy R. WILSON. Burial will be in Mt. Prospect cemetery, Hickory.
