    3. David Vincent JURCIC, 20, adopted son of Vincent and Elizabeth JURCIC of the Reissing Road, McDonald, has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Mrs. JURCIC, 52, about 12:30 p.m. Monday in Bridgeville. Mrs. JURCIC, who was shot in the head, was taken by Life Flight to the Allegheny General hospital where she died about four hours after being shot. Young JURCIC reportedly shot his mother on a street in Bridgeville outside of the home of his girl friend, 18-year-old Lois CARSON the mother of the couples' 14 month-old child. JURCIC fled from the scene with his girlfriend and a manhunt followed with area and state police participating. JURCIC turned himself in to State Police at the Carnegie barracks about 7:00 p.m. He was lodged without bail in the Allegheny County jail. It is not clear whether Miss CARSON accompanied him willingly after the shooting but she later escaped or was released by JURCIC. An anonymous caller told police where she was. It was reported that Mrs. JURCIC and David arrived at the CARSON home together. A dispute followed and Mrs. JURCIC, reportedly was shot as she attempted to stop the young couple from leaving in an automobile. JURCIC, a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. JURCIC when he was six months old. His father is a mail carrier in McDonald, and Mrs. JURCIC was active in the Meals-on-Wheels program in the McDonald area.
