PARKER, VENTRESCA, TOURNAY, CLARK Leroy V. (Roy) PARKER, 79, of R. D. 1, Hickory, died Wednesday, October 19, 1983, in his home. A son of Gavin and Ola CARSON PARKER, he was born April 22, 1904, in McKees Rocks. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Midway, and was a retired building contractor. On August 6, 1927, he married Evelyn M. CRUMLICK, who survives, along with three sisters, Mrs. Charles HALLAM of Library, Mrs. Martha HALLAM of Shadyside, Ohio, and Mrs. Claudia GALLOWAY of Mt. Lebanon. A brother, Hugh PARKER, is deceased. Private graveside services were held in Forest Lawn Gardens. Mrs. Mary KRAKOSZ VENTRESCA, 77, of Northeast, formerly of Cecil, died Sunday, October 23, 1983, in Twinbrook Nursing Home, Lawrence Park. A daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth TOMCIA KRAKOSZ, she was born August 14, 1906, in Austria. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Virginia) STEWART of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Adam (Teresa) TURICZEK of Northeast; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Anna) DESMET of Cecil, Mrs. Paul (Rachel) WARD of Burgettstown, and Mrs. Peggy CORWIN of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Frank KRAKOSZ, Emil CROCKER and Charles CROCKER, all of McDonald, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Richard VENTRESCA, died December 16, 1978. A brother, Joseph CROCKER, is deceased. Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday morning in St. Mary's R. C. Church, Cecil, in charge of the Rev. John O. GRIFFITH. Burial was in Venice cemetery. Ralph R. TOURNAY, 62, of Sixth street, McDonald, died Thursday, October 20, 1983, in the Allegheny General hospital. A son of Gregory and Yvonne ROBERTS TOURNAY, he was born July 10, 1921, in McDonald. Before his retirement, he was employed by Weirton Steel Division as an assistant roller. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Irons Memorial U. P. Church, McDonald. Surviving are his wife, Mary; a daughter, Carol OZIMEK of Aliquippa; a son, Ralph TOURNAY of McDonald; two sister, Alice LIENARD and Norma HUNTER of McDonald; two brothers, Merle TOURNAY of McDonald and Alvin TOURNAY of Muse; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday morning in the Thomas and Little funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Donald PATCHEL, pastor of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, McDonald. Burial was in Forest Lawn Gardens. Henry Dave CLARK, Jr., 35, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Oakdale, died Saturday, October 15, 1983, following an accident at Lighthouse Point, Fla. A son of Henry D. CLARK, Sr., and Jennie SLOBODGEN CLARK of Las Vegas, Nev., he was born May 23, 1948, in Washington. He was employed as a plumber for the Plumbing Corp. of America, Inc. in Florida. He had been associated with harness racing for the past 16 years and had been a trainer associate at the Meadows. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Margaret V. PIERCE CLARK of Oakdale; a son, Henry D. CLARK III of Oakdale; two brothers, Walter E. CLARK of Taylorstown and Edward P. BROCKBANK of Marianna; two sisters, Linda M. COPECHAL of Donora and Nedra BROCKBANK of Washington; his maternal grandmother, Mary SLOBODGEN of Marianna; four nieces, a nephew, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon in the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Emily BYRD, pastor of the Noblestown U. M. Church. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery.
