    3. Darwin, I am also confused... Are you trying to match the two John Hoge's in your letter? One was born in 1725 and the other in 1760. One died in 1800 and the other in 1833. The obituary does not link to the man in the first paragraph. Or are you trying to find a link between them? I'll check my entries, but I don't see how these two relate.
