I have a Maria TENNEY/TINNEY who marries a Richard CORNELIUS in 1836 in Tuscarawas County Ohio. Cornelius' were from somewhere in PA and had a stop over in the panhandle of WV before coming to Tuscarawas/Harrison Counties. Virgil was b. 1939 in Buckhannon, Upshur Co.,WV, parents were Douglas Raymond Tenney and Wilda Avis (?) Ours. Parents of Douglas were Guy Tenney and Martha E. Kittle. >From googling, it seems that all these families lived for a time in Carmichaels, Nemacolin, Waynesburg, Wasghington, Crucible areas.
