Ludwig Miller lived on border of German Twp. and Manellen Twp. in Fayette Co., Pa. He died 1813 listing wife Barberry and children Samuel, Nicholas, Solomon, David, Jacob, Abraham, Catherine, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary and Rebeckah. I find a Samuel and Nicholas Miller listed on Manellen Twp. for 1783. Thereafter these two are listed in Luzerne Twp. In 1795 and 1796 there are two Samuels listed, one as Samuel Dutch and one as Samuel Irish. Question: is the Samuel Miller in Luzerne Twp. the son of Ludwig? If so, which one Irish or Dutch? A Samuel Miller had a 1786 warrant for 377 acres on Dunlop Creek in Luzerne Twp. Same guy? I also wonder if this Samuel Miller could possible be same as the Samuel Miller who died 1821 in Mt. Pleasant in Washington Co., Pa.? He had sons Isaac, John, James, Samuel, Robert and David. Thanks.
