Each cemetery had its own group, whether called an "association" or not. In numerous cases, "the association" of a particular ceme died when the last family or relatives died. I don't know if there's a big association-- I've never heard of one and none of the church cemeteries I've researched ever mentioned it. Cemes are pretty much on their own in the county. The Washington Cemetery is the oldest "downtown and largest" cemetery within city limits except maybe for IC's at the other end of the city limits. The few others in the "city" are small or no longer used (example: what was behind JFK).
