Hi Everyone I would like to know if anyone knows of where to find records of the old churches in Washington County from the 1800's that could be contacted please. I'm still trying to find the birth details of Henry Fuller in Washington county in around 1820ish. Any help much appreciated Kind regards Dianna

Dianna, First, do you have any clues about what faith Henry Fuller held? Second, what Township was he in from 1820 on? There are no official birth records that early. Baptisms will be hit&miss, and whether the church created or kept records (some did not). Your better bet may be to locate his tombstone or his obituary. It won't necessarily give a DOB but it might give a clue, a year, or an age at death. It is hard to research from across the world. But even if you were in PA, it wouldn't mean you'd find the church record you seek; some records are very scarce. As far as churches, use the first link below to browse some of the churches in the area. Addresses are given if I have them. This will give you the places to write if you can narrow down the choices of which church. You can also Google to see if a church has an official website to get the history. You can browse cemetery lists (not complete) on the 3rd link -- the PAGenWeb site for Washington County PA. Post whatever you know about him; maybe someone in the States could do some look-ups for you.
