As fitting for Veterans Day... Just uploaded to our newspapers death index submittal page-- 32 articles from Pittsburgh from the fall of 1918 thru winter of 1919 on Western PA doughboys. Plenty of names and descriptions of battles. More articles to come over the next several days. Thanks to Lynn B for transcribing these. Note: these names are not indexed. You will have to read each article. You may want to have some tissue ready as your read some of the accounts. Others will just make you smile. All will make you proud of your roots. ALSO- we have linked to a similar death index project taking place in Sussex, NJ. This can be searched by surname. Check it all out at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~paallent/index.html The World War I articles have their own page- The Sussex, NJ is a link to take you to JoAnn's pages. She is working with the NJ coordinator to get her deaths online in a similar manner to what we have done in Allegheny Co. Thank you to all veterans. You done a country proud. annie
