Looking for the parentage of Liddy RIDDLE ATCHESON, who married John Atcheson the son of James and Susan HUDSON Atcheson. In census records, Liddy responds that she and parents were born Ohio, but from pension papers, it appears that she and future husband John Atcheson had been schoolmates together (in PA; presumably Washington County.) I am working my way through her husband's pension papers to find out more on her RIDDLE line. I see that a witness to her Washington Co. marriage was a David Riddell (? Brother) and Martha BOYD. Later when she is a widow (1920 Census: Arona Borough, Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania ) brother in law James Atcheson is living with her. Pension papers for service in Co.
