I found it interesting to read-- and discovered I have some ties to the early institution- I am tied to the RITCHIE family thru the marriage of Craig and Mary Ann's son, William H S RITCHIE, who married Sarah Jane MILLER, daughter of Thomas MILLER and Ann REED. Ann REED's mother was an aunt of mine- I also have blood ties to the James RITCHIE family of Allegheny Co. I have not tied Craig to James, but I wonder if there is a connection? James's father, William John RITCHIE was b in County Derry, Ireland and died 1855 in Allegheny Co. I am also tied to the Wesley GREER family thru the marriage of his son to a cousin of mine. A note of interest is the RITCHIE and GREER families were tied together thru the blood of my 5g grandfather- James GLENN. annie
