Dear List,   I thought this bit of info was noteworthy and sure to be of help to a Coleman researcher!   Wash Reporter Newspaper - April 14, 1890, page 4, col 2, under Canonsburg notes (link below):     "Wednesday was the 25th anniversary of the surrender of General Lee to General Grant Appomattox.
